I feel deep resonance with your powerful description and reflections here, Laureen. I agree with your wisdom that finding the "conditions" where our presence and contributions are aligned may be the vital space needed for thriving and belonging. Relationships, time-and-space, shared visions or shared palettes, seem to be some of the essential elements in the conditions I seek. I offer a warm invitation to revisit consciously practicing Presence, which seems to soften my edges while I sit within ambiguity. When I can soak in the life force of external and internal energies, my fatigue feels more of a calm slowing than a sinking. Thank you for your wizardry with words and for your ability to give names to, and to shine a light upon, experiences that might otherwise go unheard in our subconscious. - Paula
Thank you for the richness in your sharing, Paula. The way you’ve extended the conversation from your own lived experience adds something back into the field that feels really meaningful.
“Shared palettes” catches my curiosity…it seems distinct from shared vision, but highly related. Would love to hear more about that.
And “sitting with ambiguity” ~ that feels like a skill for these times! So I’m chewing on the value of that and how someone can “soak in the life force of external and internal energies.” Thank you for the words you’ve put to experiences. It helps me to sense subtle things more fully.
