Welcome to From Grit to Grace, a quiet vessel in a noisy world. I’m so glad you’ve arrived.
This space didn’t begin with a plan. It began with a feeling…of standing at the edge of something unraveling, and knowing our resilience lives in relationships. I was longing for a community, one committed to growing each other’s capacities to:
make sense together
metabolize grief
re-root in integrity
breathe life back into our dreams for the world
stay wholehearted, even when afraid.
move through the unknown ~ not by muscling forward ~ but by weaving strands of connection strong enough to hold us when the ground falls away.
We’re living in a time of profound mismatch. The world is changing faster than most of us can metabolize. External change (technological, ecological, societal) is accelerating at an exponential pace. But our internal systems (how we learn, adapt, evolve) were shaped by a simpler era.
The gap between the two… that’s what I call the Rift. And you can feel it. In the anxiety, the overwhelm, the quiet sense that something’s breaking down.
But I believe inside that rupture is also the potential for a breakthrough.
This is a developmental moment for humanity. It’s not just about solving problems, but evolving our capacity to be with them.
That means we need new kinds of spaces. Not classrooms. Not stages.
Relational spaces. Spaces that honor the complexity of our time and the wholeness of our beings ~ head, heart, and hara.
That’s why From Grit to Grace exists. Not just as a podcast, but as a small node in a larger web of transformative social systems. Where people are learning how to meet complexity with care, courage, and creativity.
A diverse group of people may find themselves in this space:
Leaders and innovators inside systems who are exploring more complexity-relevant ways of working and being that move the dial on what matters.
Consultants, coaches, facilitators, educators, and healers helping others grow capacity in complex times.
Artists, change-makers, edge-dwellers, attuning to culture shift, community, and relational ways of leading.
From Grit to Grace is a place for us all. A sanctuary for slower thinking. A gathering place for collective sensemaking.
It will ebb and flow like the tide. When I first began, I thought this might be a weekly rhythm. But as I’ve listened more deeply, I realized: grace needs room to breathe. So this space will unfold slowly—likely every other week, but always in conversation with capacity and care. Not as a step back, but as a step inward. Toward presence. Toward depth. Toward relational integrity.
So... some weeks, I’ll share a full podcast episode accompanied by reflections, invitations, or questions to deepen the conversation. Other times, it might be a story from my work with teams and organizations navigating change. Or simply a question I’m sitting with. Tender, unfinished, and worth exploring together.
You don’t need to read everything. Come when you’re curious. Rest when you need to. Follow what feels alive. Let the rest compost. This isn’t a place to “keep up.” It’s a place to drop in. To dwell. To stretch. To co-sense.
May you enjoy your time in this space. Whether you linger quietly on the shoreline, wade in with wonder, or swim ahead with questions and reflections of your own. Let’s find our rhythm together. From grit…to grace.
What’s surfacing in you? There’s a space below for your reflections.
